Wireless Charging Magnetic Battery

Have you seen a beluga whale? It’s the battery case for iPhones nowadays. I’m kind of sorry to see a great looking phone covered with rubber that is shaped like a pregnant beluga whale! 

Now that wireless charging is a thing, maybe we could improve on that and make a battery that has magnets that sticks at the back of the phone and charge it. By doing this, it creates a more convenient way of recharging the phone, and easier to remove when it’s done. You can even put a logo with leather design which makes it more pleasing and elegant.

Now, beluga whales 🐳 are happy to see!

Data Collection For Kids

I saw a Youtube video about a company who makes electronic tags that captures everything an employee does and collect data for analysis. Using the tag, they can track if an employee is working, chatting, sitting, standing, idling everyday, and they use this in their offices.

That idea struck me.

What if we could use the same tracking tags to know where, what your kids are doing. Then, at night we could just login to a website where we can see our children’s activities for the day and if they are healthy, studying or just playing games. The data can be represented by pie charts and graphs where we can improve the child’s well-being and know if they are sick, stressed out, bullied, etc.

Therefore, in conclusion, data collection is not evil per se because we can be responsible parents to our small children in order for them to grow healthy mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Invent Something Awesome For 2019

Happy New Year! Ain’t that awesome? Here we are surviving at least to be MORE awesome in 2019!

I challenge you to invent something that will change the world. A machine, a song or even a poem to make people’s lives different (in a good way). Be Steve Jobs, be Nikola Tesla, be a hero! Saving the world is no easy task, but at least we’ve enjoyed the journey towards progress.

Water Pipe Electric Generator

This is not a special water pipe, I’m talking about the ordinary water pipes that is used by a city to distribute tap water. And, this is not the small pipes around the house, I’m talking about the huge pipes that engineers made for water distribution in the city.

Why water pipes? Water is pumped through these pipes so we could use it. It uses pressure to push through water and uses electricity. So, how can it produce electricity?

Just like windmill generators, it uses the same concept on generating electricity by using a motor that generates current when the armature inside the the turbine rotates between two polar field magnets. Now, by using the same turbine, you can put this to apply it on water pipes to generate electricity. And, you are talking about 24-hour, round-the-clock electricity for the whole city.

Human + Robot = Cyborg

Everyone have seen Atlas, the robot that can do parkour and his little fellow Spot Mini.

Atlas, a humanoid, who can run, balance and do flips indoor and outdoors, is like a science fiction come true! It is only today we can see this kind of technology which is futuristic like a robotic utopia. But, I would rather see it become more useful for humans.

This comes the ability to meld the two: humans + robots to become cyborgs. Robotic future is great but a human that has the ability of a robot that can lift cars, do obstacles better than human only counterparts, is getting the best of both worlds. Just like cars, self autonomy is not effective and is hard to perfect, but joining human drivers AND robots in cars make it more safer and more beneficial. But, here comes the best part.

What if disabled people, those with severed limbs can suit-up like Iron Man and become like one? What if we combine the robotics that can really help humans with disabilities and become super-humans? It is the future, right now!

It’s like Luke Skywalker who got his hand cut off by Darth Vader with a lightsaber, and got a robotic hand and becomes able again, what is keeping us from being better?

Securing Voting Machines Like A Bank

Elections are near and Americans go to the polls to elect leaders who will run the country. The only problem is hacking.

Hacking computers is an everyday problem that we see in the news. This maybe the airline industry, social media, e-commerce stores, and everything on the Internet. So, why not go offline?

In our country, we’ve been using paper to cast votes that led to deaths, cheating, fraud and months of delays. In short, it was a total chaos. Then later, the government moved to computerized voting that proved to be better and faster. It only took a day or two to know who won and no more deaths.

Now, the problem is hackers may compromise these machines without anyone knowing and the worse part is a candidate won which shouldn’t. A terrible consequence for the whole country.

I am a developer myself and knows much about technology. Why not invent a centralized machine that does only one thing that is count ballots. And, guard it like a bank. Which is not connected to the Internet but have a special network backbone. Thus, really makes it hard for hackers to infiltrate. The voting machines as well should be guarded and has a special key for individual voters given upon registration. Better yet, should have bio metrics like fingerprint scanners.

In conclusion, this solution is critical in protecting the people’s freedom and choosing leaders for the future of our country.
